Help, i have bees!

Honey bees on wood

Honey Bees are not "pests", so DO NOT SPRAY THE BEES

Honey Bees have been declared THE MOST important creatures on the planet, without which, we would have little to no plant based food, i.e., fruits, nuts, vegetables, and grains, etc. They are an essential link of the food chain and they are in trouble. Bees are quickly disappearing. With the onset of industrialized farming, bees are falling victim to the prolific use of pesticides and fertilizers. In addition to the rampant spread of disease and parasites, each year there are fewer and fewer hives. Here at Syracuse Honey, we are working to change that, saving one colony at a time. We specialize in the safe, humane removal of existing colonies from homes and other structures where they have become a destructive nuisance. We relocate those nuisance colonies or swarms to sites managed by proper beekeepers. This allows them to continue thriving and pollinating for years and years. In this way, everybody wins. You can get the bees off your property and they can continue helping to make our food.

BEES Don't WANT TO HURT YOU, but...

When bees move into your house, it's a major problem. Honeycomb in your walls can create a long term problem that, if left unattended, can cost into the thousands to resolve. If you see bees entering your house, you NEED to have them removed. They might not sting you directly, but you'll certainly feel the sting in your bank account.

Do NOT Spray the Bees, have them PROFESSIONALLY removed

If a colony of bees has moved into your home or building, spraying them will likely not solve your problem. If anything, it can make your problem worse. Don't spray or try to kill the honey bees. Instead, call Syracuse Honey and have them safely and thoroughly removed. This is the best long term solution.

A large swarm of bees on a small tree

Swarms are collections of Honey Bees that have left their original hive and are looking for a new home. They are typically seen as a large mass of bees clinging to an object or structure. These bees are in in transit to a new home. Timing is important, they are searching for an opening the size of your finger, with a cavity behind it. Their new home could be in your house. Don't share your house with the bees.

Call a professional for a safe and humane swarm relocation, where they will live a healthy and productive life, in our bee yards. Call 315-516-6000 NOW.

Bees inside the wall of a home

Bee infestations are extremely destructive for homes and other structures, much like termites. If you have bees in your wall, you need them out ASAP. The bigger the colony becomes the harder and more expensive it becomes to remove and relocate. Hire a professional to humanly remove the bees, wax and honey from your house. Killing the bees leaves behind the wax and honey in your walls, which is an open invitation to other insects looking for a free meal, like wax months, ants and cock roaches. Call now 315-516-6000.
